THE WINDSHIELD IS BIGGER THAN THE REARVIEW
THE WINDSHIELD IS BIGGER THAN THE REARVIEW
A metaphor I often use in sessions is centered on where you look when driving. Specifically, it’s the symbolism attached to your windshield and your rear-view mirror.
"Notice a car's windshield is bigger than the rearview mirror. It is vital that as one evolves into the person they want to be, they remember to focus on the view in the front window of their future versus the limited rear view of the past."
Change Can Feel Scary or Overwhelming, but Therapy Helps
Sharing your deepest insecurities—and how they came to be—can be intimidating.
However, it’s essential to take one last look in your rearview mirror before setting the course and moving forward. I’d love to help you move ahead.
What You Can Expect from My Therapy Practice
-
I understand that a warm and safe environment is key to ensuring that every client feels seen, valued, and supported.
I have a genuine (and unrelenting) desire to alleviate suffering and help facilitate positive change.
-
A therapist should understand their own emotional landscape, and strive to expand their understanding of others.
This is a lifelong practice, and I am proud to never stop learning and using.
-
No therapy practice should be set in stone. Flexibility allows me to adjust techniques and strategies according to specific and evolving needs.
This adaptability ensures that my therapy services are always fresh, personal, and relevant.
Starting therapy is an act of self-care and courage.
The most important part of this journey is finding the right therapist for you—a person you feel comfortable with, supported by, and understood.
That’s exactly why I offer a free consultation—so you can ask questions, share your concerns, and see if we’re the right fit before committing.

We work with most insurance providers and are committed to assisting you in understanding your coverage options. Additionally, we accept Out of Network benefits to ensure you have access to our services.
Out-of-network insurance:
We do not submit claims for out-of-network plans directly. However, your insurance may cover a portion of the session costs. If you wish to utilize your out-of-network benefits, we can provide you with a 'superbill' containing all the necessary information for you to submit a claim to your insurance company.
Good Faith Estimate Notice:
Your Right to a Good Faith Estimate
Under federal law, healthcare providers are required to provide patients who do not have insurance or who are not using insurance with a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges for medical items and services.
You are entitled to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total anticipated cost of any non-emergency items or services. This estimate includes associated costs such as medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees. It is important that your healthcare provider delivers this estimate in writing at least one business day before your scheduled medical service or item. You may also request a Good Faith Estimate from your healthcare provider, or any other provider you choose, prior to scheduling an item or service.
If you receive a bill that exceeds your Good Faith Estimate by $400 or more, you have the right to dispute the bill. Be sure to keep a copy or a picture of your Good Faith Estimate for your records.
